Why do we need the UL verified certificate?

Recently, many of our customers have asked why we are adding another certificate to our portfolio. The UL certificate is already in our portfolio. Why add another? What are the benefits of the UL Verified certification? How is it different from the existing one?

Why UL Verified?

This science and technology company is known as Underwriters Laboratories. Mechanical, electrical, and chemical products are subject to its safety standards. UL's Safety Standards have included design recommendations and testing and construction requirements since 1894. Cable electrical requirements are also included. UL is also a globally renowned lab and one of the most widely used certification marks. Each year, 22 billion products bear the UL mark in the USA.

UL regularly tests products in accordance with applicable standards. Audits are then conducted to ensure compliance and consistency.

What is UL Verified for?

UL Verified certification allows consumers to verify marketing and promotional claims about products, processes, systems and facilities. Each evaluation is objective, independent and scientifically sound. An UL Verified logo is then provided to the manufacturer (see below). This logo can be used for marketing purposes by the manufacturer. Consumers and customers can easily recognize safe and trustworthy products.

UL Verified for chainflex

UL audited our 36-month chainflex® guarantee statement in early 2020. These cables are covered in terms of their electrical and mechanical performance, as well as how their service life is calculated.
